Our Mission
"Sr. Santo Nino Sinulog of Miami, Inc." strives to bring together the Filipino-American community in the South-Eastern United States to participate in both charitable and educational efforts for communities in need at the domestic and international levels while promoting, preserving, and celebrating Filipino Christian faith and culture.
"Sinulog of Miami" is a non-profit tax-exempt organization dedicated to helping communities in need both at the domestic level and abroad. We are a group of families that have come together in friendship, in faith, in love, and in devotion for the Child Christ, Senyor Santo Nino. Celebrating and preserving our christian faith through weekly novenas, we strive to share with the community our dedication to the Senyor Santo Nino through weeky visitations of the Blessed Holy image. For in prayer we hope to enlighten the hearts of our fellow man in performing acts of kindness for those in need.
History of the Sinulog of Miami
Sinulog of Miami is a non-profit tax-exempt organization dedicated to helping communities in need both at the domestic level and abroad. We are a group of families that have come together in friendship, in faith, in love, and in devotion for the Child Christ, Senyor Santo Niño. Celebrating and preserving our Christian faith through weekly novenas, we strive to share with the community our dedication to the Senyor Santo Niño through weekly visitations of the Blessed Holy image. For in prayer we hope to enlighten the hearts of our fellow man in performing acts of kindness for those in need.
Starting out as a group of friends holding novenas every so often, Senor Santo Niño Sinulog of Miami began to take its roots when they decided to organize themselves into a non-profit incorporation, dedicated to spreading the faith and celebrating the Senor Santo Niño. Since then, we have moved on to create a choir, funded charities, provided healthcare for the poor in the Philippines and hold an annual celebration for our Senor Santo Niño. We have grown larger and larger every year, led on by our love of God, and the leadership of our wonderful members who have been appointed to the position of president over our existence. Our Spiritual Director, Father Sam, has been with us since the very start, and has lent us crucial support and advice for us over the years. Our Board of Directors and Committee of Officers, our governing bodies, have created the backbone of our organization, moving the group in the direction our members want for the greater good.
For almost two decades, the Sinulog of Miami Family has weathered challenges and celebrated cheerful momentous occasions. We feel blessed to have such an active community and blessed further for having Sr. Santo Nino in our lives. It is our prayer that you continue to celebrate Sinulog with for years and decades to come.
